Congratulations to our own Colin O'Dell who recently had a new feature accepted into the core code for Symfony. Colin's new feature in Symfony will be included in the upcoming 2.5 release. The feature itself is an RFC 4122-compliant validator for UUIDs (universally unique identifiers).
